As the thermocouple protection tube, the material must possess high temperature oxidation resistance, excellent corrosion resistance, and good thermal shock resistance. The operation temperature of BN ceramic tube is from 900℃ in air to 2300℃ in inert gas. It is chemically stable and chemically inert to almost all molten metals. Boron nitride has high thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion. During repeated fast cooling and heating from 1000 ℃ to room temperature, it will not crack.
Crystallizer is a very important part of the continuous casting machine. In order to obtain qualified casting, it should be to meet the basic conditions: good thermal conductivity, good wear resistance, sufficient strength, simple structure and easy to produce.
