Boron nitride with the cas number 10043-11-5, is a synthetic technical ceramic material. It has four forms-powder, solid, aerosol and liquid. Solid boron nitride ceramic is manufactured by hot pressing. HPBN has high thermal conductivity and thermal shock resistance.Boron nitride components are mostly used in high-temperature equipment because of excellent thermal and chemical stability.
Compared with high purity BN ceramics, boron nitride composites have better mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. BN composite ceramics has excellent applications in break rings of horizontal continuous casting, side dams of thin strip casting and molten metal atomizing nozzles.
