Hexagonal boron nitride is high purity, non-toxic, white powder. Boron nitride ceramic is formed by h-BN powder in hot press sintering process. With low thermal expansion and high thermal conductivity, it has excellent thermal stability. It will not crack under repeated rapid cooling and heating conditions from 1000℃ to room temperature. BN ceramic is non-wetting for most molten metals and has good chemical resistance property. 

Boron nitride heating plate (heating element) is processed from BN ceramic blank.The power density, service temperature, insulation grade and dielectric strength of heating elements can be greatly improved by using boron nitride as insulating material. Moreover, it is more economical and reduces thermal inertia. The annular shape reduces the size of the heating system and improves heat transfer. As a heating carrier, boron nitride heater is used for precious metals, pharmaceutical products and plasma sputtering coating.
