Titanium diboride powder is a gray or gray-black. It has excellent physical and chemical performance.The melting point is 2980℃, density is 4-4.5g/cm3, mircohardness is 34Gpa, and anti-oxidation temperature (in air) is up to 1000℃.
TiB2 is stable against some forms of chemical attack, and highly stable against molten metals.TiB2 powder has good electrical and thermal conductivity.It can improve thermal conductivity when used as a filler in a polymeric matrices.By hot pressing,it can be easily processed into customized shapes.
