High purity and electrical insulating PBN is used as the substrate for the PBN/PG Heater. Pyrolytic graphite(PG) is coated on the pyrolytic boron nitride surface by high temperature CVD. PBN/PG heating elements exhibit performance advantages not available in traditional heating systems.
